The back-to-school season and the closing months of 2026 are shaping up to be particularly lively for fans of fine dining in Paris. Among them, a new address will take root in the Oberkampf district: Osko. The restaurant is scheduled to open its doors in December 2026 in the 11th arrondissement, spearheaded by chef Oscar Cornubert, who signs his first establishment here.
Nestled in the walls of a former dry-cleaning shop, Osko will seat about fifty covers around an open kitchen. Trained under chef Anne-Sophie Pic, and later at the workshops of pastry chef Pierre Hermé, Oscar Cornubert aims to develop here a free, generous cuisine, largely inspired by seasonal produce and by his travels.
The menu will be built around 'shared plates blending French influences and touches from elsewhere, notably langoustine ravioli with a tangy bisque, a brioche with black pudding and caramelized apples, tacos of confit shoulder of lamb, or a Tarte Tatin of Roscoff onions sharpened with yuzukosho.
The experience aims to feel welcoming as well, thanks to a grand counter facing the kitchen, letting guests watch the brigade at work and chat with them throughout service. The chef, who also holds a degree in oenology, naturally gives wine a central role. The cellar, established just over a year ago, will showcase bottles from many French regions, with a special focus on Burgundy—the region his family hails from.
With its contemporary décor, its sharing-style kitchen and a product-led approach—along with food-and-wine pairings—Osko aims to position itself among the new gastronomic spots to watch in Paris's eastern side, opening in December 2026!
