Are you looking for the most beautiful terraces in Paris, and especially rooftop terraces serving unobstructed views on the city and the Eiffel Tower? How about visiting the 6th floor of Peninsula Paris to enjoy the Rooftop?
For your information, Peninsula Paris rooftop terrace is divided into two parts; one part being for L’Oiseau Blanc restaurant; the other unveiling a bar open to all without prior booking. And the icing on the cake for rooftop fans is the spot also opens in the morning for breakfast on the roofs of Paris. Every day from Tuesday June 7, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., if the weather allows it, a Continental breakfast expects you for €56 per person (including viennoiseries, hot drinks and cold beverages).
The bar serves lovely signature cocktails made with herbs from the garden set right behind the rooftop itself. For instance, discover L’Agrume based on tequila infused with lemongrass from the garden, limoncello, citrus fruit juice and citrus fruit bitter. Of course, other cocktails pay tribute to the iconic Oiseau Blanc that crossed the Atlantic and of which a model adorns the palace. Get the cocktails named “Depresurisation” (based on gin, Lillet blanc, vanilla syrup, lemon juice and almond milk) and the “Coconut Airline” (based on coconut-infused vodka, spice syrup and champagne cordial).
Of course, wines, champagnes and more refreshing drinks are available on the menu.
To pair them all, the terrace also serves a lovely tapas menu to share and created by two-Michelin-star chef David Bizet. The menu gives pride of place to vegetables and serves vegetarian dishes from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tempura veggies, zucchini carpaccio, burrata from Apulia with basil oil expect you along with soft delights such as Madagascan vanilla custard tart, or Peruvian chocolate crunch with Espelette pepper and finger lime condiment.
In other words, a great terrace, a refreshing menu, tasty cocktails, the perfect combo to have a great time on the rooftops of Paris, sunglasses on our noses.
