Art addicts and event enthusiasts beware, you're about to get "Happy"! From March 20 to April 19, 2025, Galerie Perrotin (Paris 3e) hosts FEMMES, a 100% free group exhibition orchestrated by Pharrell Williams and Emmanuel Perrotin, bringing together a cast of 40 artists from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Back in 2007, in Miami. Pharrell Williams and Emmanuel Perrotin crossed paths and discovered a shared admiration for the Japanese art scene driven by Takashi Murakami. This arty complicity gave rise to a fruitful artistic relationship, resulting in avant-garde projects such as Perspectives (2008) and G I R L (2014), inspired by Pharrell's iconic album.
With FEMMES, they honor the women who have marked the singer's life - wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, muses - by showcasing the work ofAfro-descendant artists of all generations. Deeply inspired by black women, Pharrell makes their plural and nuancedrepresentation the common thread running through the exhibition.

TheFEMMES exhibition creates a space where art celebrates strength, resilience and creativity. Each work resonates as a hymn to black joy, a spotlight on those who transform the world with their brushes, materials and ideas.
Pharrell Williams and Galerie Perrotin sign a committed and eclectic exhibition, rooted in contemporary creation, where humanity is at the heart of every vision.
