Craving to compare burgers from across Europe in a vibe inspired by the American West Coast? The Champions Burger returns to Val d’Europe Shopping Centre in Seine-et-Marne, from July 9 to August 2, 2026. This Francilienne stop on the European tour gathers 15 gourmet burger outposts, invited to showcase their recipes to the public, who can vote for their favorites. The event, free to attend, runs daily from 12:00 pm to midnight.
Presented as a tour in search of the “Best Burger in Europe”, The Champions Burger invites the public to discover creations that play with ingredients, textures, and flavor combinations. Participating brands will offer their own recipes, featuring premium meats, artisanal buns and original toppings.
Among the announced offerings, visitors will discover colorful loaves, brioche crowned with edible gold, Japanese wagyu, sweet Iberian ham, red aged cheddar, guanciale jam, Asian peanuts, and truffled cream cheese. The Spanish restaurant El Tarantín Chiflado, winner of the Paris edition 2025 with La Bichota Pro Max, is also back to defend its title.
After tasting, every visitor will be able to vote directly using a QR code on their ticket. The burgers will be judged on several criteria: the bun, the patty, the harmony of ingredients, presentation, and originality. The three most-voted recipes at Val d’Europe will form the local podium, ahead of a final bringing together the most-praised creations from the tour’s various cities.
This setup gives the event a participatory feel: attendees don’t just taste—their input helps decide which vendors win the competition.
For its 2026 edition, The Champions Burger unveils a refreshed stage design built around the theme California Dreaming. The installation is designed to immerse visitors in a West Coast–inspired setting, with neon lights, nods to Los Angeles avenues, American diners and a lively street-food atmosphere.
The event will take place in the parking lot of the Centre Commercial Val d’Europe, a Seine-et-Marne shopping hub opened in 2000 and operated by Klépierre. The center brings together 190 brands across 105,000 m², including a spacious gathering area, La Place des Étoiles, as well as a dining and leisure offering. Its proximity to Disneyland Paris and La Vallée Village makes it a well‑known waypoint for both local visitors and tourists.
Based at the Val d'Europe Shopping Centre, the event lets you extend a day of shopping and leisure with friends or family by a tasty break featuring a gourmet burger, in an atmosphere crafted for summer and convivial outings.
