Le Charmant, the cosy hotel and refined restaurant in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine (93)

On Rue du Landy, in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, Le Charmant is a beautiful place, one of those where you immediately feel at home. Opening in spring 2025, Le Charmant lives up to its name.

A lovely shady courtyard, a 19th-century mansion: from the rue du Landy, you can see this beautiful building, which is particularly noticeable in the neighborhood. It was here thatAnne and Selim decided to buy this unique house and turn it into a project of their own: a hotel-restaurant where comfort and intimacy are the order of the day, in a setting where you'd never imagine you'd be so close to the hustle and bustle of the capital.

"The idea is to make everyone feel at home," says Anne. In the restaurant, gourmet, seasonal cuisine is served à la carte. At lunchtime, the restaurant only offers a lunch menu (starter-main course-dessert for €30 or starter-main course/main course-dessert for €25). All with 100% homemade recipes, from starters to pastries, poultry and fresh fish. A la carte" prices range from €12 to €13.50 for starters, €20 to €29 for main courses and €9 to €11 for desserts.

A fine wine list is also available to accompany your meal. A children's menu is also available à la carte, for €11, with a syrup, a main course (poultry or fish with mashed potatoes) and a scoop of ice cream served with whipped cream.

At weekends, there's a barbecue every Saturday and Sunday, with a gypsy jazz band to liven up the day. Children's entertainment is also available - and included in the package - for a great family break!

"We wanted to bring the soul of the original house back into the hotel", explains co-owner Anne, "it was really the house that made the project, and when we saw it abandoned, we came up with the idea of Le Charmant". The gamble paid off, as they opted for all-comfort rooms, with excellent bedding and a small number of rooms for greater privacy. Available for families or couples, they offer a view over the hotel's pretty courtyard, and retain a number of period features. Rates start at €90 per night, with breakfast at an additional cost of €14 per person.
