Rue Pierre Fontaine, in the 9th district of Paris, the restaurant Paris-Boca has just opened its doors. On the menu of this Argentinean canteen? Pizzas, real emblems of the Argentine street-food.

Latin American cuisine is constantly invading the capital to titillate the taste buds of Parisians!
After the Mexican taqueria ACA in Pigalle, but also the Brazilian street-food of Mina's in the 10th district, here is Paris-Boca, a new Argentinean canteen in the 9th district of Paris.

And, at Paris-Boca, no empenadas or grilled meat, but pizzas!
Yes, as surprising as it may seem, pizzas are very popular in Argentina.

Created by Natalia Pirillo-Font and Anne-Louis Brosseau, the restaurant Paris-Boca honors Argentine pizzas, true emblems of street food in Maradona's country. Here, they are sold by the slice or to share, and you can even compose your own two-taste pizza if you hesitate between several recipes.

Pizzas arrived in Argentina thanks to the immigration of Italians.
At Paris-Boca, the pizzas are topped with products of Argentine origin, like the Fugazzeta Rellena, the house's signature pizza, filled with muzza, an Argentine cheese.

The Fugazzeta Rellena, brimming withonions, is reminiscent of a flammekueche at first glance. But the comparison stops here because the Argentinean pizza is also overflowing with cheese. More than generous with cheese, it is not at all disgusting!
On the menu, other pizza recipes, some very spicy, and others that are more like the Queen with their mushrooms and charcuterie from the Montalet house.

And, for dessert, if there is still a little room, some pastries with an Argentinian accent.

Therestaurant Paris-Boca is also a bar, as it offers wines - Argentineanof course - but also beer and signature cocktails, like this star drink in Argentina with Fernet - cola or this fabulous recipe of grandfather mixing Cinzano, vodka, lemon sugar and sparkling water.
