Set in Paris 3rd arrondissement, Madeho group (Le Friedland, Maison Malesherbes, Pley Hotel…) is to open a brand-new hotel in Paris, Sookie, ready to welcome guests starting from June 2021.

Who said the hotel trade sector was on a standstill in Paris? In town, the hotel trade remains a very dynamic sector. Proof of that the recent and upcoming inaugurations. The opening of the luxury Cheval Blanc hotel is highly anticipated. As for the Canopy by Hilton group, it recently opened. Like the Paradiso, inspired by the cinema universe.

Among pending hotel openings in town, there is Sookie, a place nestled in the heart of the Marais and its cobbled streets. Between Bastille and République, a stone’s throw from the Picasso and Carnavalet (reopening from May 29 after renovations) museums.

Sookie is a human-sized hotel featuring 31 bedrooms. Indoor designer Dorothée Delaye took care of Sookie’s decoration, choosing wood, fabrics and handmade lights, along with a few modern works of art.

Although most hotels are set with a restaurant, Sookie went for a coffee shop to attract their neighbors from breakfast. Set on the ground floor of the hotel, the coffee shop will of course stay open all day long.
