In 2019, Paradis Latin presented their newest show, L'Oiseau Paradis.
In 2020, the cabaret presents a new menu for dinner before the show. Starting from January 1, 2020, the new menu at Paradis Latin will be signed 3-Michelin-star chef Guy Savoy.
Paradis Latin keeps on renewing itself. After a new show directed by Kamel Ouali and starring former Miss France and Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere as the lead, the novelty 2020 will be on our plates.
Paradis Latin has hired Guy Savoy – who has been awarded three Michelin stars for his restaurant at the Monnaie de Paris – to create four menus a year (one per season) for the cabaret, starting January 1, 2020. Even though he will ne not be in Paradis kitchen, as a consultant, Guy Savoy has selected suppliers, created and trained teams and of course, he’s tasted and validated every single dish.
And menus are currently giving pride of place to French produces such as foie gras, snails and cannette de Challans duckling.
Therefore, at the moment, the Gustave Eiffel menu includes poultry, foie gras, and celery pressé as a starter. A very nice mix of flavors. Or even some delicious lukewarm carrot soup freshened up with lemongrass and ginger, served with king shrimp tartare slightly heated by the heat of the soup.
Moving on to main, the bitter-sweet Asian salmon is served with terriyaki sauce and scented rice sprinkled with edamame and zucchini. A main as sophisticated as the place?
And for dessert, behind the "robe framboise-passion" label hides a meringue dome holding passion fruit and raspberry ice cream topping some cookie.
And all this accomplishing a feat: menus cost €140 and €180, show included.
Including drinks, they cost €160 and €200 including some very tasty champagne, an excellent vintage from Maison Malard.
