Newcomer alert! Roll specialist, Kumo, has lunch launched Kantïne by Kumo, a temporary spot providing Japanese street food all summer 2020 long by the Canal Saint-Martin, at the Citizen Hotel. Rolls and other Japanese specialties to enjoy as soon as possible.

After rolls vending machine in universities and companies’ canteens, Kumo has decided, for this summer 2020, to finally meet their fans (and welcome new fans on the same occasion).
This summer, Kumo takes over the Citizen Hotel, by the Canal Saint-Martin, where it opened Kantïne by Kumo, a food corner where you can enjoy Japanese specialties.
To enjoy on site, or on the small terrace improvised with a few tables, in a deckchair or to take away to eat by the canal.

Kantïne by Kumo is a temporary take-away spot you want to enjoy now.

Kumo rolls are absolutely delicious. They have nothing to see with the ones we find in stores. Kantïne provides three rolls recipes: veggie, teriyaki beef, and salmon, cucumber and avocado. They all are very tasty.
On the menu of Kantïne by Kumo, we find fried chicken Japanese style, very crispy, edamame, pickled carrots and cucumber, with miso paste, as well as fried potatoes Japanese style and wasabi-flavored mayonnaise. Everything is widely inspired by the new Japanese food wave.

When it comes to dessert, Kumo offers homemade cookies, including a very tasty honey/dark chocolate cookie, as well as ice creams from Glazed with surprising but excellent flavors such as coconut-yuzu or even Japanese tea.

From 6 p.m., Kantïne by Kumo switches to aperitif time, with delicious and surprising cocktails, such as this bitter gin tonic with schizo, or this sour yuzu caipirinha, Japanese beers, or even some very refreshing homemade lemonade.
