How about dining at a restaurant on the last floor of a new hotel with unobstructed views on Paris? Do not think twice and head to Mama Shelter La Défense that recently opened in the famous business district in Paris. Climb to the 14^th floor (do not panic, there is a lift!) and enjoy one of the three restaurants of the hotel, and undoubtedly the most impressive one.

With its ethnic and bright decor, its large patio doors with views on Paris roofs, its grand piano letting us think about wild music parties at weekends, and its impressive central bar, the restaurant of the last floor is mind blowing.

But the most beautiful show undoubtedly takes place by the window, with the city's majestic landmarks you can see: the Eiffel Tower of course, but also the Arc de Triomphe, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, the Tour Montparnasse, the Sacré Coeur, and the Bois de Boulogne down there, laying by the sleeping city.

For the menu, Mama Shelter thought of a young chef who contested in Top Chef 2021 France, Pierre Chomet who got inspired by his travels across the world to sign a local menu filled with Asian colors, flavors and techniques, like he used to use during the famous culinary show.

This is not the first time Mama Shelter calls in a renown chef to create menus served in their hotels. In the past, Alain Senderens, Jérôme Banctel, Guy Savoy and Jean-Edern Hurstel made it too. Today, it is Pierre Chomet - trained at Le Bristol and L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon in London and Bangkok - who is entrusted with this indulging task!

For instance, discover on the menu of this rooftop panoramic restaurant, the nicely plated seabass carpaccio with pomegranate, lemon balm and Kaffir lime (€14), and the tuna tataki, pink radish, edamame, ponzu sauce (€14) to start with. Move on with the crunchy squid (€22) topping navy beans, chorizo and parsley, or the very tender Landes free-range poultry supreme (€23) snow peas, spinach, wasabi. Well-made dishes with a Japanese twist.

Once dinner is over, run to an even more impressive corner inviting to the craziest parties, a glassed rooftop-patio, sheltered from the wind, with comfy sofas, colorful cushions, and incredible views on Paris! The perfect place to sip on the restaurant-bar's very tasty cocktails with friends.
