Le groupe Kobo opens Nonno San in September 2026, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. Imagined by Keita Sukeno and Victoria Luciano, this new address will fuse Italian cuisine, Calabrian heritage, and Japanese precision, from morning coffee to late-night dinners.

Following Tsukizi, Shin Izakaya and Saku, the Groupe Kobo unveils in September 2026 its fourth address: Nonno San. Based in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this new restaurant aims to bring together two culinary traditions around a neighborhood-table that is both approachable and refined.

Behind the project are Keita Sukeno et Victoria Luciano, drawing on their family histories. The restaurant’s name captures this dual identity: “Nonno,” meaning grandfather in Italian, pays tribute to Victoria Luciano’s calabrais grandparents, while “San,” an honorific suffix used in Japan, nods to the respect for elders and the transmission of traditions.

On the plate, Nonno San will serve Italian cuisine rooted in excellent ingredients and traditional recipes, executed with the rigor and meticulous attention associated with Japanese cuisine. The aim isn’t to pile on fusion effects, but to let two approaches converse through precise techniques and bold flavors.

Designed to be experienced at different moments of the day, the venue will welcome guests starting with starting with morning coffee, then for lunch and dinner. With nearly 70 seats, Nonno San embraces the spirit of a neighborhood restaurant, where you can come back for a quick bite or take the time to sit down and dine.

This new opening extends Kobo's philosophy across its previous ventures, "to reveal a sincere cuisine, rooted in the quality of the ingredients and the excellence of the craft". From September 2026, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris!
