The Galerie – set across the famous Le George gourmet restaurant in the right wing of the Four Seasons George V Paris palace – reinvents itself and offers a brand-new menu likely to delight you.
Go and have a seat on one of the bench seats or many armchairs in this 19th century-inspired décor, which is a bit of the very heart of the hotel, to enjoy a meal mixing French culinary heritage, creativity and modernity thanks to Alan Taudon’s talent.
To refresh his menu, the chef has worked with small and local producers and farmers, nestled only a few miles from Paris and has thoroughly selected them for the quality of their produces and their sustainable approach.
Among the lovely discoveries, fall for the Fleur de Tourteau or Crab with Radish Flowers plated like a flower. People looking for authenticity will be delighted by the classic and smooth leek confit, served whole to keep all its flavors. It is served with an egg and a fine vinaigrette condiment.
The Perfect Egg is a heart-stopper served with Île-de-France mushrooms, of course. Perfectly bakes, a working match to indulge you.
Moving on to mains, you are served with sure bets such as the Parisian Coquillettes with Ham, Black Truffle Shavings or the Croque Monsieur, Ham, Black Truffle, 36-Month Matured Comté. The famous blue lobster from Brittany also expects you with open arms. Of course, we went for the croque monsieur and the bread with just tasty and divine. Undoubtedly the best croque monsieur in Paris.
Vegetarians or fans of healthy dishes can order the Ratatouille that is eaten in no time and enjoys the great advantage of being prepared with a broth based on peel to waste nothing.
To beautifully wrap up this meal or for a divine snack, fall for Michael Bartocetti’s wonderful creations. The talented pastry chef indulges us with a very tasty Paris-Brest, a divine Chocolate Soufflé or even a crazy Mille-Feuille based on Madagascan vanilla.
In other words, here is how to treat yourself to a wonderful meal in an idyllic setting whether you are a guest of the hotel or a gastronome.
