Réséda Café, Thierry Marx's signature restaurant at the Grand Palais

The Grand Palais welcomes a new restaurant by Thierry Marx. Orchestrated by the SSP France group, the new restaurant, called Réséda Café , sees the Michelin-starred chef succeed Eric Frechon, who was at the helm of the now-defunct Mini Palais restaurant until the Grand Palais was closed for renovation.

"The Grand Palais is one of the places that shaped my imagination as a child from Ménilmontant. From my visits to the Palais de la découverte to the many exhibitions I've seen and recent culinary events, this place has always been with me. I'm delighted to be able to share my cuisine with visitors", Thierry Marx detailed when he announced his appointment in 2023.

Réséda Café offers simple, seasonal cuisine using locally-sourced produce, in keeping with Chef Marx's commitment to the environment. For a lunch break between two exhibitions, or for visitors passing through, the restaurant unveils an artisanal, plant-based and accessible cuisine.

Located on the mezzanine floor of the Grand Palais, in an area of over 500 m2 bathed in natural light, this is where you can enjoy, for example, a watercress and poached egg velouté, snacked leeks with orange vinaigrette; poultry pâté en croûte with dried fruit; fresh linguine with market garden pesto; or a duck burger with fig chutney. And on the sweet side, baba au rhum, tarte au citron, chou praliné or gaufre liégeoise revisited as tarte Tatin are all on the menu.

The address is also open for breakfast, with viennoiseries by MOF Joël Defives, tartines with home-made jams and organic eggs in all their forms; and on Sundays, it's brunch Bénédicte à la Thierry Marx, combining poached eggs, cheese and viennoiseries for a relaxing family moment.
