Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse innovates once again, opening an ice-cream factory in Paris! With original flavors such as Herbes fraiches sorbet and Pamplemousse & Vermouth ice cream, not forgetting the traditional Vanille, Fraise and Chocolat, we're sure you'll love the refreshment this summer.

In this heat, what better way to cool offthan with an ice cream? But not just any ice cream! Among the new ice cream shops to be discovered this summer 2021, we can't missAlain Ducasse's Manufacture de glaces. Located in the rue de la Roquette, right next to the chocolate and coffee factories , the star chef 's new ice cream parlour offers a refreshing and original interlude.

True to form, Alain Ducasse offers fresh products made on the premises, usinghigh-quality ingredients and artisanal techniques to preserve the authenticity of the flavours. For example, the nuts used to make the ice creams are roasted in the chef's own factories.

No products that spend several weeks in freezers, the ice creams are prepared on site, every day, and always in small batches. They're made before our very eyes all day long, according to the needs of the moment!

You can enjoy ice creams, ganités or sorbets in classic flavors(chocolate, coffee, vanilla, pistachio...) or more exotic ones like the fresh herb sorbet (our favorite), olive oil ice cream, lead ice cream or the cocoa & lemon cascara granita.

The establishment is run by Matteo Casone, a gelatiere originally from Bologna, Italy, who, after traveling the world to perfect his art, won over Alain Ducasse in July 2020 with his Pamplemousse & Vermouth sorbet, which can be found on the Manufacture de Glace menu.

And if you're not afraid of the cold, know that the ice creams are also available in 500g and 1kg takeaway tubs to enjoy at home or wow your guests.
