From December 23, 2025, to January 7, 2026, in Montrouge on the outskirts of Paris, the Beffroi de Montrouge, an architectural gem and a major venue on the Paris art scene, is hosting an exceptional exhibition by Thierry Lefort. Between works from the 2000s and recent creations, embark on an intimate and luminous journey into the world of a singular artist.
A French painter based between Saint-Ouen and Los Angeles, Thierry Lefort captures the soul of modern cities—parking lots, factories, and bridges. You can feel the heat of the asphalt and the reflections of the Californian sky. His painting is both abstract and figurative in an explosion of color. " My job is to sublimate places. I like to find beauty where it is not obvious," says the artist.
The exhibition brings together more than 150 works —monumental canvases, more intimate paintings, and prints—some of which are being exhibited for the first time. The astonishing reconstruction of his studio immerses visitors in an experience that is both immersive and sensitive, at the heart of Thierry Lefort's creative universe .
In addition to your visit, you can leave with a beautiful poster of the exhibition in Californian colors. It couldn't be easier:
