From breakfast to dinner, Martin bar and restaurant invites you to the big 300sqm plant-filled terrace all summer 2021 long. A few steps from the Canal Saint-Martin, rue René Boulanger, Martin shines a light on fresh and seasonal cuisine, cooked with local produces. Martin is 4-star hôtel Renaissance République's restaurant and bar.
Behind the stove, chef Emmanuel de Oliveira – who used to work with Pierre Gagnaire – delights gourmands. Green asparagus from Val de Loire et bee’s pollen; French snow peas and foie gras; wild meagre, zucchini and basil; as well as Norman beef fillet and potatoes. You get it, here, produces’ sourcing is super clean, and recipes are mouthwatering.
For lunch, Martin serves a lunch set menu for €25 including a starter and a main course or main course and dessert, and €29 for starter, main course and dessert. A set menu including three recipes to choose every time. Richly seasoned recipes. And at the moment, the chef gives pride of place to cherry.
At weekends, Martin unveils a brunch from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with eggs coming in many versions and served with tasty grilled cheese sandwiches, avocado toasts, pancakes and granola.
And to toast, mixologist Antoine Perro came up with incredible cocktails that will be very fresh this summer 2021, such as the Bloody Mary revisited in many ways depending on the season!
Martin's wide terrace is very verdant thanks to the countless plants. It even features a beehive and a foosball table. It is set in lieu of a former artist squat. As for the decor or the terrace, like for the restaurant's, it has been bargain-hunted.
In other words, a lovely terrace serving good food and beverage. What else? Head to Canal Saint-Martin!
