Although some Paris cabarets such as the Lido, the Moulin Rouge or the Paradis Latin reopened already the past month, the Crazy Horse is welcoming the public again from October 21, 2021. If its reopening - after being closed for 18 months - takes place later, it is because the cabaret set avenue George V has enjoyed a makeover. The Crazy Horse reopens with a brand-new décor.
The setting provided by the Crazy Horse has been fully redesigned and reinvented for the cabaret's 70th anniversary. This renovation is the first one of such an extent in 26 years. The Crazy's new look has been designed by architect and designer Benoît Dupuis who worked with the cabaret.
This new décor has been created to pay tribute to the story of the place and shine a light on its artistic heritage. Great partnerships have been made there with Marcel Duchamp, David Lynch, César and even Ellen Von Unwerth.
The façade has been thought over, so has the lobby and the theater and the bar now called "Polly Underground" as a tribute to one of the Crazy Horse icons. The show venue features 220 seats and enjoys a new layout, more intimate, with two private alcoves.
As for the stage, the sound and light systems have been changed to create event more immersive atmopsheres. On stage, the "Totally Crazy" show is still performed but with a new character: Miss Astra.
