Inaugurated in 1969, the Elysées Lincoln cinema still occupies number 14 rue Lincoln in Paris's 8th arrondissement, just a stone's throw from the famous Champs-Elysées avenue. It's one of the capital's many independent and arthouse cinemas. It screens the week's releases, at much more attractive prices than the big franchises, but also hosts all kinds of events, including festivals. The highlight of the year is the Champs Elysées Film Festival, held every year in June.
With 3 screens and over 300 seats, the Le Lincoln cinema offers prices ranging from €4.90 (under 27s) to €11 full price. This cinema is part of the same group as Les 5 Caumartin and Les 7 Parnassiens.
To make the most of it, head for rue de Lincoln in Paris's 8th arrondissement, near the Champs-Elysées. And there's plenty to do after your movie. Take a stroll along the famous avenue, dine at the Publicis Drugstore restaurant or visit the Arc de Triomphe, a national monument just a 10-minute walk away.
