Pavillon des Ibis launches family brunch

The Pavillon des Ibis, a bucolic restaurant in the Parc des Ibis at Le Vésinet, is opening up to families with a new, extremely tasty Sunday brunch by chef Guy Martin, which appeals to children and their parents alike. With the fine weather just around the corner, you're sure to love the place as much as the food.

In Le Vésinet, the Pavillon des Ibis is an institution! Closed for several years, the restaurant reopened its doors at the end of 2018 under the leadership of Valérie Darnis , who officiated for many years at the Pavillon des Oiseaux in the Jardin d'Acclimatation.

Accustomed to seeing hordes ofchildren at her tables, the director's ambition is to transform the premises into a family home. Indeed, such an enchanting setting in a magnificent lakeside park, with a playground right next door, is the ideal place for a family Sunday brunch.

As for the cuisine, Valérie has teamed up with Michelin-starred chef Guy Martin to offer a tasty menu suited to the palates of adults and children alike. The warm, refined decor is the work of artistic director Jérôme Faillant Dumas.

On Sunday lunchtimes, the restaurant is divided into two parts: a traditional à la carte dining area, and a brunch area where the food is served by the plate - but don't be fooled by appearances, it's very hearty!

The formula is simple: you choose a hot drink, a fresh fruit juice, a main course and a dessert, all served with an assortment of mini viennoiseries and assorted rolls, accompanied by honey, jams and homemade spreads! A real treat!

On sunny days, the restaurant also boasts a lovely terrace facing the lake. We can already imagine the kids going back and forth to the table to pick their food, and then running out into nature to let off steam and laugh.

All in all, a great place to spend a pleasant moment with the family over delicious food.
