In Vésinet, Le Pavillon des Ibis is an institution! Closed for years, the restaurant reopened in late 2018 under the supervision of Valérie Darnis who worked for many years at Jardin d’Acclimatation Pavillon des Oiseaux.
Used to see hordes of children at their tables, the manager expects to turn the place into a family house. Indeed, such an enchanting place set in a wonderful park by the lake featuring a playground just beside is the perfect place for a family brunch on a Sunday.
Moving on to the food, Valérie teams up with Michelin starred chef Guy Martin to provide a delicious menu suiting adults’ taste and children’s. we owe the warm and sophisticated décor to art director Jérôme Faillant Dumas.
On Sunday lunch, the restaurant is divided into two parts: a traditional à la carte food area and another one reserved for the brunch served by the plate, but don’t judge a book by its cover, it’s very hearty!
The principle is simple: you choose a hot beverage, a fresh fruit juice, a main course and a dessert and you enjoy the whole along with an assortment of mini-viennoiseries and assorted mini breads, including honey, jams and homemade spread! How delicious!
