Yora, the festive nikkei restaurant hidden away in Paris's 9th arrondissement

Restaurant Yora is one of the Pigalle district's finest addresses, open 7/7 for lunch and dinner! With its magnificent Art Deco stained glass windows, its incredible nikkei cuisine - a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavors - and its DJ sets in 2 rooms with a trendy atmosphere, Yora will seduce you for your lunches and festive evenings! The restaurant is open all summer!

Housed in a historic building with a sulphurous past in the iconic Pigalle district of Paris, Yora restaurant offers a fresh and inspired vision of popular Nikkei cuisine, at once authentic, generous and modern. At the crossroads of Japanese and Peruvian gastronomy, this good fusion address delights gourmets at lunch and dinner, and offers a festive atmosphere in the evening!

The trendy setting is a sign of the revival of an address steeped in history: in the past, it housed a brothel from the 1930s, then a gambling club! Today, the atmosphere of the Paris of the Roaring Twenties lives on in the beautiful woodwork and magnificent Art Deco stained-glass windows, inspired by a print depicting the Kanagawa Wave by Japanese painter Hokusaï.

"Yora" refers to an indigenous Amazonian community, an inspiration that runs through the DNA of the place: raw materials, natural colors, and a menu that gives pride of place to fresh produce, worked with finesse. What's on the menu? Revisited classics, such as tuna nigiri, sashimi, scallop tiradito, ceviche bathed in a spicy sauce, a legacy of Japanese immigration to Peru, grilled wagyu cuts by the weight of your choice, and marinated black cod with Saikyo miso sauce!

The restaurant was able to take advantage of the site's two-room architecture to create a dance area with the cabaret room, bar and parquet rotunda, which hosts DJ sets every weekend!

For mixology enthusiasts, Yora offers a refined selection of signature cocktails, designed in the spirit of the place, with exotic ingredients and nods to Peruvian biodiversity. A carefully selected range of wines also accompanies the dishes, in keeping with food and beverage pairings, to be enjoyed in moderation, of course.

If you're planning an evening out, let Yora tempt you. It's a sensory and culinary experience you can enjoy without leaving Paris. Privatization available!
