With sunny days upon us and beach days ahead, we’re looking to eat healthier. It’s perfect since a new restaurant has just opened at Paris Galeries Lafayette Homme and it provides nice and healthy dishes.
Called CRU, this restaurant set on the 3rd floor of the Galeries provides foodies a Mediterranean cuisine mixed with French flavors. On the menu: lots of dish but not only!
Running CRU, this temporary restaurant set at the Galeries Lafayette and on the lovely terrace on the 3rd floor, Julien Bonci fonder of the CRU restaurant in the 11th arrondissement and open since September 2017.
The framework of the chef's first restaurant and this temporary summer restaurant is the same: keeping the ingredient raw to convey, via the plate, how passionate producers and artisans are.
On the CRU menu, we have very lovely, healthy and flavorful options such as the cold cucumber soup with cauliflower and ginger; a delicious salmon candied with olive oil and cooked for 4 hours served with Greek yogurt cream, potatoes, sesame and dill; a vegan bowl with white quinoa, lentils, carrots and zucchinis and peanut condiment; an avocado gazpacho and a very fresh seabream ceviche with leche de tigre and lime, garlic, ginger and cilatro served with olive oil and basil marinated mango.
But what made litteraly fall was the old-fashioned chocolate mousse. On of the best if not THE best we've ever eaten. It has this fantastic taste that makes us dip our spoon several times and its dangerous.
Let’s also have a look at the live preparations and the culinary animations, let’s get a few pieces of advice provided by CRU mixologist and let’s have seat at the counter or on the terrace if the weather allows us to enjoy these tasty and fresh dishes with wine, champagne or cocktail.
