The Rolling Stones live in July 2022 in Paris? This is the rumor that grew and that has just been confirmed by producer AEG Presents! The famous British rock band has announced a 14-show European tour this summer in Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Germany, without forgetting France. Save the date: the Stones' tour called "Sixty" will stop by Lyon Groupama Stadium on July 19, and Hippodrome ParisLongchamp on Saturday July 23, 2022.
As you may have guessed, this new tour, "Sixty", will be the occasion for The Rolling Stones to celebrate 60 years of career! Accompanied by drummer Steve Jordan - following Charlie Watts' death this past August 24 - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will make most of the occasion to return on their countless hits such as "Gimme Shelter", "Paint it Black", "Start Me Up", as well as "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction"... The musical event promises to be a fantastic visual show with a huge stage, lights and video design at the cutting edge of creativity and technology!
For the record, the Rolling Stones have not performed in Paris since their residence in October 2017 at the Paris La Défense Arena, to inaugurate the new show venue. Yet, their Unzipped exhibition stopped by Marseille last summer.
To (re)discover the Rolling Stones live in Paris, meet on July 23, 2022, at Hippodrome de Longchamp. This is not surprising if the Stones' show in Paris is sold-out, but new tickets will be put on sale this Friday June 10 at 10 a.m. (Paris time), so, make sure you are ready!
Furthermore, free shuttles from the Porte d'Auteuil and Porte Maillot in Paris will be available the day of the event, Live Ntaion France director general Angelo Gopee told Le Parisien.
