“Cézanne and the Italian Masters” at Paris Musée Marmottan Monet
The “Cézanne and the Italian Masters” exhibition running from February 27 to July 5, 2020 at Paris Musée Marmottan Monet will return for the first time to the very strong connection between Cézanne and the masterpieces by the greatest Italian masters.
Monet, Renoir, Chagall… Journeys around the Mediterranean, the immersive exhibition by the Atelier des Lumières
The Atelier des Lumières presents the visual experience Monet, Renoir, Chagall, Journeys around the Mediterranean from February 28 to December 31, 2020. Designed as a visual experience, this exhibition takes us to the heart of masterpieces by 20 artists including Renoir, Monet, Pissarro, Matisse, Signac, Derain, Vlaminck, Dufy, Chagall for a walk across the history of art in the 19th and 20th centuries, from impressionism to modernity via pointillism and fauvism.
“Turner, peintures et aquarelles de la Tate” exhibition at Paris Musée Jacquemart-André
Paris Musée Jacquemart-André proposes a great retrospective around work by British painter Joseph Mallord William Turner with the “Turner, peintures et aquarelles de la Tate” exhibition, running from March 13 to July 20, 2020 in partnership with London’s Tate.
Pompei, the exhibition at the Grand Palais
From March 25 to June 8, 2020, the Grand Palais devotes a digital exhibition to the latest excavations conducted in Pompeii and all the works of art discovered then.
Noir et Blanc, the photo exhibition at Paris Grand Palais
The Grand Palais teams up with the Bibliothèque Nationale de France to display “Noir et Blanc: une esthétique de la photographie” [Black and White: a photography aesthetic], an exhibition to discover in the south-eastern part of the Grand Palais from Wednesday April 8 to Monday July 6, 2020.
Man Ray et la Mode, the exhibition at Paris Musée du Luxembourg
From April 9 to July 26, 2020 the Musée du Luxembourg devotes an exhibition to Man Ray and fashion photography. An artist already highlighted by the Grand Palais for a retrospective in 1998 and the Pinacothèque in 2008.
Centre Pompidou celebrates Matisse’s 150th birthday
To celebrate Henri Matisse’s 150th birthday, Centre Pompidou pays tribute to the artist with an exceptional and original exhibition focusing on the relationship between the painter and literature. Running from May 13 to August 31, 2020.

From September 22, 2020 to January 10, 2021, the Musée d’Orsay devotes a compelling exhibition to the origins of the world and the invention of nature in Darwin’s century. This exhibition, at the crossroads of sciences and arts, will return to the historic change in the 19th century.
Me, Taharqa, Pharaoh of two lands, the exhibition at the Louvre
The Louvre unveils an exhibition to Taharqa, former king of Napata, former capital of the wide kingdom of Nubia (current Sudan) from October 29, 2020 to February 8, 2021. The occasion to learn more about one of the most famous kings of his time.
The good news is that you don't have ot choose: you can visit and visit again these exhibitions as many times as you want! A beautiful year expects us in Paris museums.
